Astrium Launch Campaign

Originating in Toulouse the spacecraft, loaded to specially designed containers, may only need to make the short journey to the airport, but the overall 32.6m (L) x5.6m (W) x 4.7m (H) dimensions of the convoy would prove challenging. After undertaking route surveys and extensive planning Chabrillac identified the most suitable route, and, utilising a 3+2 axle bespoke modular trailer, effectively managed the project. Each container, and its accompanying equipment (lifting beam, ground control equipment) are safely transported to the awaiting Antonov 124 Aircraft for onward delivery to launch site.
